At The Center For Dance Arts we pride ourselves on providing an atmosphere conducive to positive learning. We feel that the world can be a very negative place at times and we want your child’s dance experience to be positive in every way. We never use negative criticism to make corrections and we always encourage every child to be the best that they can be.

The Center For Dance Arts all instructors are trained and certified. Miss Yvonne (owner and director) has a graduates diploma in dance and theatre arts from the Albano Ballet and Performing Arts Academy and has been teaching for 26 years.

Miss Carissa Monroe is certified and trained through Dance Masters Of America, the most prestigious dance organization in the world. Miss Carissa will begin her 7th year of instructing with us. She is loved by all of her students and her true love for dance shows in every class that she teaches.

Many of our returning students have continued dancing with us right through college. The students develop a bond so strong that it lasts long after they leave us. I have seen not only amazing friendships with the children, but also with the parents. We have truly been blessed with amazing parents with whom we form a great respecting relationship with. I have been in business for 22 years and have never had a verbal altercation with a parent. Not once. By communicating with each other in a respectful manner, together we provide what I consider, the greatest parent-teacher-student relationship possible.

We teach poise, confidence, strength building, courage, creativity and discipline along with high quality dance education. These are all tools that last a lifetime.
Our motto is “the center for dance arts, where every child is a star”. That is truly how we feel about each child we teach. While they are with us, they shine bright in our eyes.
